The Elky Page
Above:  AJ's first '68 elcamino "elky", which was purchased as
shown from a private party in Southern California.  Vehicle is
bone stock with the original 307 V8, 2 brl carb.  Currently this
elky is undergoing several restoration upgrades to include:
dash repair (due to a leaky windshield), new firewall
insulation, heater core, wheels & tires, sun visors, side & rear
road soon and heading back to the DeAnza Drive Inn on
Friday Nights.  Updates to this project will be provided at a
later date.
Above:  AJ's second '68 elcamino "elky", which was
purchased as shown from a private party in Southern 4 brl
carb.  Currently nothing has been done to this elky except
replace the broken side windows and put a hood on it.  Jon
Martinez, AJ's youngest step-son, and driver of Sport
Compact # 66, is patiently awaiting AJ to turn the keys over to
him to restore.  AJ has managed to collect a large number of
replacement parts and hopes to work on this ride with his
step-son Jon soon.  Upgrades to this project will be provided
at a later date.
Above:  AJ's first '69 elcamino "elky" (with a '68 dog house on
it), was purchased as shown from a private party in El Paso
Texas.  Vehicle is only a roller.  Currently nothing has been
done to this elky except replace the broken driver side
window.  AJ has no idea what he will be doing with the project
but says with a smile "at least I have it to play with."  Maybe
restore or drag.........
Above:  AJ's second '69 elcamino "elky" was purchased as
shown from a private party in Silver Springs New Mexico.  AJ
admits currently nothing is being on this elky either "but what
the heck, at least I have a pair of '69 bookends."
will be stripped and used on the other three '68 projects that
AJ has.
